Lights, camera, action! This week students will be learning the various aspects of drama, from costumes and set design, to acting and dance. Our little actors will get a chance to show off their skills during our Reader’s Theater plays. Along with drama and dance, students will also learn about artist such as Matisse and Van Gogh and experiment with art techniques including sketching, model clay, and painting. Different types of instruments will be introduced and students will hear samples of music from a variety of genres and famous composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach. At the Bower’s Kidseum, students will ignite their imagination through exploration of the arts. The creative juices will keep on flowing as we end the week with an epic talent show and lip sync battle!
